Take Me Back:
In “Take Me Back,” SNL takes on a story of a woman who is trying to move on from a past relationship that she doesn’t like. The show starts with the woman, played by Kristen Wiig, sitting in her house, thinking about the man she was in a relationship with for two years. She’s not happy with him and doesn’t feel like she can move on.
“I was in a relationship with this guy for two years and I didn’t like him,” Wiig says in the show. “I didn’t feel like I could move on.”
The show then takes a look at the woman’s past relationships, starting with the one that she doesn’t like the most. She relives the memories of the relationship, feeling like she’s in a nightmare.
“I would wake up in the morning and I would feel like I was in a nightmare,” Wiig says. “I would feel like he was there with me, and I would feel like I was being raped.”
The show then takes a look at the woman’s current relationship, which she’s been in for a little over a month. She’s happy with it, but she’s still thinking about the past.
“I’m still thinking about the past, and I’m still feeling like he was there with me,” Wiig says. “It’s like a never-ending cycle.”
