PlayStation State Of Play Reportedly Coming Soon, Larger Showcase Before E3

PlayStation State Of Play Reportedly Coming Within A Month, Bigger Showcase Before E3

Sony Interactive Entertainment is reportedly planning to host a PlayStation State of Play event within the next month.

The event, which is said to be a larger showcase than the PlayStation-focused events we’ve seen in the past, is expected to include announcements related to upcoming PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games.

The news comes from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, who tweeted that “a big PlayStation State of Play showcase is coming within the next month.” According to Schreier, the event will be “bigger than the usual streams.”

The news follows reports that Sony is preparing to host a PlayStation 5 showcase in February, which is also rumored to be a larger event than what we’ve seen in the past.

Sony recently announced that it will not be attending E3 this year, so it’s likely that the company is planning to make up for its absence with a series of large-scale showcases throughout the year.

If the reports are true, this will be the first time Sony has held a PlayStation State of Play event since September of last year. It remains to be seen what will be revealed at the event, but it’s expected to include announcements related to upcoming PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games.

It’s possible that we could hear news about some of Sony’s first-party titles such as The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima, as well as third-party titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy VII Remake.

It’s also possible that Sony could use the event to reveal more details about the PlayStation 5 and its upcoming games. Whatever Sony has in store, it’s sure to be an exciting event for PlayStation fans.
