Linus Ullmark became the first goaltender in Bruins’ history to score a goal on Nov. 15th when he netted the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators. Ullmark, who had started the game but was pulled after one period, became the first goaltender in Bruins’ history to score a goal.

Ullmark, who was born in Sweden, had been a backup goaltender for the Bruins for the past two seasons. He had started the season as the backup to Tuukka Rask, but after Rask was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in the offseason, Ullmark became the starter.

Ullmark was not the only player to score a goal in the game. Jakub Voracek, who had been a healthy scratch all season, netted the game-winning goal with 1:24 remaining in the third period. Voracek, who had been a healthy scratch all season, had been in the lineup for the first time in his career.

The Bruins finished the season with a record of 47-27-10, which was seventh in the NHL. They were also the first team to win the Stanley Cup. #NEWS
